Kajra re.

I have not seen Bunty aur Babli nor had any intentions to go for it untill I saw this song "Kajra re" featuring Aishwarya Rai.
Hardly a one minute promo featuring Ash for just few sec bowled me over..oomph! what a sensual light dance and powerful expressions.

I'l see the movie her.

Current mood: naught
Current music: Kajra re..(aur kya)

Amazing Weekend

I have only 40 days left at this place now and time is flying with the speed of a bird migrating from east Asia to India as summers begin. Past weekend was just awesome enfolding some pleasing experiences.

It was 3rd july, 5.00 pm, friday when I left from my office room. I came back home, get refreshed, had coffee and then at 6.30 I went to SDC to play badminton. The game was much more exciting and facinating today then usual and I played for some 3 hours. When I came back home, I came to know that we are going to Saumya's place in Hancock for dinner and then it was again 3 hours full of masti and joy. There I came to know that Saumya is going for hiking tommorow with a Thai female "Ampa" and 2 of her friends. And I was set with them without lossing any chance:)

Next day, 10.00 in the morning Shilpa ( mu roommate) and I went to Saumya's place and from there all of us went for hiking to Hungerian Falls. Though the falls were not very beautiful, not much water....but hiking was fun. I will send the link of the page with photographs soon. I still have to scan the pics of Chassel beach..so you will have chance to see them after a few days. Ok..I was at hiking. From Hungerian falls which were some 30 miles from Houghton, we went some 10 miles more ahead and now we were at Lake Linder. By seeing the photograph you may not be able to make any difference between the places as you will see water of the lake and greenery as the commmon element in all the pics but the places are different as so is the water. At lake linder, its not portage lake but its " torch lake". Ok, I know you are not that interested in the geography of the place as I am, so lets move ahead. We came back, and then went to Victoria's Kitchen ( and I missed Mother's kitchen after reaching that place!). There I had Grilled Sandwich ( its very different in taste and in looks than what we get in India) made up of Wheat Bread, Fudge ( which was preety cool) and onion pottatos. So, my lunch was not very good, but not bad either. It was 3.30 when we left that place.

Then, I had to go to Mechanical dep straight! No, I don't work on sat/sun but I was going on a picnic with some members of ISA to "Twin lakes". The place is called Twin lakes because it is supposed to be the point where Portage lake and Torch lake meet each other. Ops, I again started with geography!! Ok..no more. There I made a lot of new friends, played volley ball, njoyed kayaking ( which was one thing I wanted to do here at any cost), wetted a lot of people keeping myself safe:D, eat a lot of icecream and Bhutta's, njoiyed swings in front of lake and what not. over all this, I njoyed the company of these newly made friends a lot. I had never thought of having such an amazing outing here at this place, so it was a beautiful surprise for me:). I came back at 9.30 and was very tired by then and went to sleep.

It was sunday morning when I woke up and in the evening we had a potluck (food brought by guests and shared by all) as it was Saumya's grahpravesh! Well, she just shifted her home to a new place in Hancock from Houghton and we needed a reason for the potluck. So, we had to prepare "Ragda Patis" and now I am sure I am very good at cooking:D:D. At 5.00 pm we went to SDC to play badminton, came back, got ready and then left for Saumya's place at 7.00. There i had one of the best dinner I ever had in past few years. All things were homemade which includes Veg Patis, Gajar ka halwa, khere ka rayta, chote, pulyograh, rice, daal, Apple pie, cake and Cuturd! We played a new game ( i had never played it before ) called "Maxican Train". Details about the game when I will come back. I won't be able to explain it here. Antakshari was as usaul a part of all this. It was 12.00 in the night when we left her place and it was raining with cold breeze flowing. The weather was just suited for a long drive and so was our mood. We went on a drive in car aroun Houghton once and then bakc to home and then in bed to wake up in the morning to get back to work.

I woke up today morning, say the watch and the the date it displyed was 6th june. Was just wondering as if last night I had seen 3rd june there. How the last two days fled, I don't know. If I am having so beautiful weekends, who would wish to go to Chicago or New York. Let;s see what's more in store for me to grab:)

Have a nice time
khushi
